AEW held one of their biggest ever episodes of Dynamite last week. With another PPV now not coming until 2021, the company held their ‘Winter Is Coming’ edition of the show, which had some major implications for the company going forward.
Winter Is Coming had the debut of ‘The Icon’ Sting and the AEW Championship changing hands; with Kenny Omega defeating Jon Moxley following help from IMPACT Wrestling’s Don Callis.
Dave Meltzer recently spoke about the next ‘major’ episode of the show, saying that it may be closer than anticipated. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer claimed that the December 30th episode is planned to be a “really big show.”
There’s currently no confirmation on exactly what will make that episode of Dynamite so much bigger than the preceding weeks following Winter Is Coming.
