Nia Jax has not always been the safest Superstar to work with in WWE. She has been responsible for several real-life critical injuries to other wrestlers in the past, which includes infamously breaking Becky Lynch’s nose back in 2018 on WWE RAW.
Most recently Jax ended up injuring Kairi Sane during a RAW match in May. She sent Kairi crashing down the steel steps hard, which left a deep cut across her head.

In a recent appearance on Sportskeeda’s Legion of RAW podcast with Chris Featherstone, Road Warrior Animal talked about how Nia Jax has changed her ways working more safely after being shouted at by WWE authorities.
Nia Jax conscious about not hurting anyone
Jax has received her fair share of criticism for hurting her fellow WWE Superstars in the past. But after returning from her knee surgery, she has changed her style of wrestling. She is now working more cautiously, said Road Warrior Animal.
“Nia, before she got her knees operated on, was the perfect version of Nia. She’s so conscious now about not hurting anybody, because she probably got yelled at a lot by the company, because a lot of girls were getting hurt. She probably got yelled at and her method and the way she is doing things now is different. She’s not letting loose, she’s extra cautious. I guess she hurt Kairi Sane, which was a shoot, I think she probably got a talking to pretty good.” H/T Sporstkeeda
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Jax made an appearance after being suspended for assaulting a WWE official.
Jax joining forces with Shayna Baszler
It seemed like Nia Jax was there to fight Shayna Baszler at first, but then she ended up joining forces with her.
The two foes formed an unlikely tag team to face the Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks at WWE Payback. Baszler agreed to team up with Jax for the match, but not without landing one straight across her face.

On the other hand, Sasha Banks has already lost her WWE RAW Women’s Championship to Asuka at SummerSlam. She would be putting her remaining title on the line in the match against Jax and Baszler.
