During a post-fight interview, the microphone was given to a journalist who stated to Matt Brown: “You’re red hot and I know another guy that’s red hot. I think a Nate Diaz and Matt Brown fight sells out any arena.”
Matt responded: “Yeah, it would be cool. I love the Diaz brothers. Of course, it would be a big fight, so – that’s one of those fights where if I took it, it wouldn’t be because I dislike the Diaz brothers, you know? I think you said Nick, right? Not Nate?”
Journalist quips: “Either or.”
Matt Brown responds: “Either or, yeah, so uhm, the Diaz’s, I’d take it because it’s a big fight and I respect them.”
We know the Diaz brothers will most likely be all over this one and we will have to see if they both respond or if it’s one or the other that tries to handle this possibly upcoming fight that will be one for the books if it were to happen.
