Becky Lynch remains one of the most popular female WWE Superstars in recent memory. The Man’s meteoric rise to Superstardom back in 2018 is well documented. It propelled her career to the absolute top, which culminated in her winning both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35, defeating both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the main event of the Show of Shows. She is also engaged to WWE Superstar Seth Rollins and the two welcomed their baby girl Roux in December of last year. A Becky Lynch jean shorts photo was also released recently.
WWE last held Evolution, their first all-female pay-per-view, in Uniondale, New York on October 28th, 2018. Since then another all-female pay-per-view has not been seen on WWE television. Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio talked about the likelihood of another Evolution pay-per-view. Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch were two of the featured stars on the show.
“It didn’t flop selling tickets, but it was tougher than most. The number of people who watched, and they promoted it hard, was still lower than most. It was not the worst that year, no, but it was on the low end. Their mentality is, ‘why add that pay-per-view when it wasn’t a big hit?’ but of the B-Shows, they pushed it harder than all of them. I mean they did so much promotion for that thing for it to be at a low level. For the promotion they put into it, it did not do well.”
