WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella had gotten engaged to Artem Chigvintsev back in 2019 and they later welcomed their first child, Matteo, in July of 2020. Their wedding date continues to get pushed back. Nikki Bella reveals the reason
Nikki recently disclosed that it is because of a promise she made to Artem about how they wouldn’t get married until his parents can attend the ceremony:
“The one promise I made [Chigvintsev] before we can plan is that his parents can attend,” she told ET. “And with where the world’s at right now, and trying to get two Russian parents into the country, it’s almost impossible. So the day I can get two visas is the day we will set our date and say, ‘I do.’ “
Nikki originally stated that they planned to get married around this Thanksgiving, but since that has passed, she feels next year’s Thanksgiving is a more realistic target. Nikki was previously engaged to John Cena, but the couple called it off in 2018. She met Artem when they were partnered together on Dancing With The Stars in 2017.
