Dancing With The Stars star Artem Chigvintsev had his eyes on Nikki Bella from the moment he saw her, but back then she was still together with John Cena. Artem Chigvintsev is most known for his appearance on “Dancing with the Stars.”
It has been quite a few weeks since he had to pull out of the show’s live tour citing “unexpected health issues. He is now better thankfully. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev had to wait a long time due to the ongoing pandemic as far as their marriage date was concerned.
The former WWE superstar and her dance partner have been engaged since November of 2019. Speaking on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Prinze Jr. recalled how Brie Bella once contacted John Laurinaitis about The Bella Twins’ status in the company back in 2007-2008. Brie Bella threatened that she and Nikki would quit WWE if they did not get enough time on WWE television.
“He [WWE producer Michael Hayes] was the one that ran into the room when we were about to lose them,” Prinze Jr. said. “Because Brie Bella called John Laurinaitis and was like, ‘Look, our contracts are up. Put us on TV or we’re gone.’ John Laurinaitis calls Freebird [Hayes] and is like, ‘You gotta find a way to get the twins on television right now.’ Freebird runs in the writers’ room, he’s like, ‘We got twins! We gotta get them on TV!’”
