Previously there were rumours of former Diva’s Champion Nikki Bella returning to ring and having a match at the upcoming SummerSlam PPV.
However, now it appears that while the Total Divas’ Star will be returning to WWE TV during the PPV, she won’t be stepping foot inside the WWE ring.
Nikki recently had a verbal battle with her Fiancée John Cena’s SummerSlam opponent and Mr Money In The Bank Baron Corbin on twitter.
During the heated exchange, she hinted in one of her tweets that she will be present on the upcoming show, but as a member of the audience, as seen below:

Since it’s WWE we can still expect Nikki Bella to get involved in the match between Cena and Corbin in some way. Though after her tweet and considering the fact that we are less than 2 weeks away from SummerSlam, it appears that the reports of her in ring return were false.
