NXT General Manager William Regal announced that NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream will defend his title against the “King of Bros” Matt Riddle at NXT TakeOver: New York.
This would mark Matt Riddle’s first title shot ever since his arrival to the NXT brand. TakeOver: New York is scheduled to take place on April 5 at the Barclays Center during the WrestleMania weekend.
