NXT Superstar did not work show due to COVID-19 risks

WWE aired another episode of NXT on the USA Network this week. However, the main event of the show did not feature the usual team of the Undisputed Era. Roderick replaced Kyle O’Reilly and it seems there was a very good reason for this.

It was noted earlier that Kyle O’Reilly has a higher chance of complications from COVID-19 due to him being diabetic. So he did not want to take the risk and decided not to work the show.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided confirmation that O’Reilly did not work the episode due to the risks. The Undisputed Era were unable to win the NXT Tag Team Titles from Matt Riddle and replacement partner Timothy Thatcher.

We wonder when Kyle will be making his return to NXT.
