NXT Superstar’s injury apparently real

WWE has a lot prepared for their NXT TakeOver: XXX event. However, it seems one NXT Superstar will not be able to compete at the event, which the company certainly did not plan.

During last week’s episode of NXT, William Regal announced that Dexter Lumis would no longer be competing at the five-man ladder match for the NXT North American Title. It was said that he suffered an injury of some sort. Some believed it to be part of a storyline, but it seems that is not the case.

According to Bryan Alvarez noted on the F4WOnline Message Board, the injury Lumis suffered is legitimate. He injured himself during the show. The ankle injury took place during a recent episode of NXT when he performed a flip to the outside of the ring.

Lumis certainly has a lot of potential and we hope he will be able to make a speedy recovery and return sooner rather than later.

The Superstar who will be replacing Lumis will be determined soon.
