According to reports from Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has released one half of the NXT Tag Team The Mighty, Nick Miller from his contract sometime recently.
Though while Miller has been released, the company is keeping his partner Shane Thorne which effectively breaks this tag team which has been together since 2010.
No word yet on why the star was released suddenly but the site notes that there was talk of Nick wanting to get free from his contract and go home for personal reasons. Though if he asked for his release is not confirmed.
After his release word is that WWE will be repackaging his partner Shane Thorne and make him a singles competitor on the yellow brand.
The Mighty were last seen on NXT TV this week where they wrestled in a match against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. They were signed by WWE back in 2016.
