Original plans for CM Punk’s return to wrestling

CM Punk shocked everyone when he made his return to wrestling while wearing a mask at an MKE wrestling event, founded by ROH’s Silas Young when he ran in and saved Ace Steele.

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, to keep CM Punk’s appearance secret, Punk waited outside the building in a car until it was time for him to do his run-in.

It was also stated that the initial plan for Punk’s appearance was for him to do the run-in, hit the GTS, save Ace Steele and then unmask himself in front of the 350 fans in attendance. However, Punk didn’t reveal himself in the end before leaving the building.
