According to TMZ Sports, Oscar De La Hoya and wife Millie Corretjer will finally be officially divorced, as De La Hoya has filed for divorce on Friday, over six years after they broke up.
According to the documents, De La Hoya listed the grounds for the divorce as irreconcilable differences. The former couple met back in 2000 after the boxer started his music career. He saw Corretjer in a music video and contacted her for being a part of his own productions.
The two didn’t take long to fall in love and married in October 2001. They had three kids together before separating back in 2016. It is also to be noted that Oscar de la Hoya has been publicly dating model Holly Sonders for the last couple of years.
