As many are now aware of, Oscar De La Hoya was hospitalized for what was said to be Covid. Not everyone seems to believe this story and to this day, Oscar’s past seems to haunt him through all facets of social media and through boxing fans alike. What is the true reason that Oscar was seen in the hospital and should we be concerned about this?
Many people in and out of the boxing world like to poke fun at anyone who has had it tough and amounted to something. We can look at the greats like Mike Tyson who to this day gets picked on due to a lisp. We can also go to other sports and see this same thing happening over many huge names.
Oscar De La Hoya does not seem to get a pass from this as people still like to poke fun at his very dark and twisted past which almost saw De La Hoya lose everything including his life. Now, yes, the official reason for Oscar being in the hospital is Covid even though he is vaccinated. Many think he went on a drinking binge causing him to end up in the hospital. While this may be funny to some, it certainly is not the reason for him being in the hospital.
