The 48-year-old De La Hoya recently spoke to TMZ Sports and revealed that wants a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he has $100 million that he is offering Floyd Mayweather in order to accept the boxing match.
“You know who I’m gonna call out for my next fight? Floyd Mayweather. I’ll offer Floyd Mayweather $100 million.”
De La Hoya lost a very close 12 round split decision to Mayweather fourteen years ago in May 2007 in a fight that brought in 2.4 million pay-per-view buys, which was a record at the time. However, it is to be noted that Floyd Mayweather might not accept the offer no matter how much money he has been offered.
