Oscar de la Hoya was touted as one of the best boxers in the world when he was active. He retired back in 2008 but was set to come out of retirement in his boxing match against Vitor Belfort on September 11th. Unfortunately, Oscar de la Hoya contracted COVID-19 and was left hospitalized. Oscar de la Hoya also revealed the drug Mike Tyson used.
According to Reddit user Ahskker, Oscar De La Hoya was on Instagram live where he claimed he was eight months sober.

In other news related to him, the 48-year-old De La Hoya recently spoke to TMZ Sports and revealed that wants a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he has $100 million that he is offering Floyd Mayweather in order to accept the boxing match.
“You know who I’m gonna call out for my next fight? Floyd Mayweather. I’ll offer Floyd Mayweather $100 million.”
De La Hoya lost a very close 12 round split decision to Mayweather fourteen years ago in May 2007 in a fight that brought in 2.4 million pay-per-view buys, which was a record at the time. However, it is to be noted that Floyd Mayweather might not accept the offer no matter how much money he has been offered.
