Otis reveals the origin of his Caterpillar move

Otis has made a name for himself since being called up to the main roster and the former NXT star has become a fan favorite in a very short span of time.

His funny gimmick and his goofy wrestling moves have played a part in his success and during a recent interview with DigitalSpy.com, the heavyweight star revealed the origin to one such move.

Otis was talking about the Caterpillar which he performs on his opponents and he revealed that its inception lies in his elementary school days:

“It was at a dance party at Elementary School. No girls would dance with me so I had to get the crowd over with my moves. I started shaking my hips and getting going and I waited till everybody was watching – you know, it was a big circle dance, everybody’s looking in there and checking you out. And that’s when I dropped. Bam! It’s a little bit stiffer on the floor than in the ring. And I got love from doing that move, so I just kept doing it. So now every wedding I get sore ribs the day after.”

Otis has been getting a lot of TV time due to his storyline with Mandy Rose in recent times and reports reveal that Vince McMahon is very high on the former NXT star.
