Otis talks about being bullied

Otis has been on the receiving end of a push for a while now. He is also Mr. Money In The Bank after winning the match on Sunday’s MITB pay-per-view. However, he has been through a lot in his personal life.

On a recent episode of Chasing Glory, Otis talked about the hardships he went through while growing up. He was overweight and looked different, due to which he was bullied a lot.

Otis says he “absolutely” got picked on as a child and was made fun of simply due to how he looked. It was not only his weight but also his looks and he even had many unfortunate stories spread about him trying to follow students home and so on. Nowadays he considers it funny to think about because his childhood bullies are too scared to even talk to them due to the things they said in the past. He goes on to talk about people insulting his intelligence and explains that while it obviously hurts, it is not something he overreacts to.

Lilian mentioned how even adults can recall bad memories from things they hear. Otis agreed as that was the case for him. Thankfully, he has put the past behind him.
