Former WWE wrestler Owen Hart was bestowed with major recognition as he was announced as the latest member in the Pro Wrestling Hall Of Fame.
Hart, during the course of his career, represented several promotions which included Stampede Wrestling, WCW and the WWE (formerly known as the WWF), where he went on to be a two-time Intercontinental Champion, four-time Tag Team Champion and one-time European Champion before his unfortunate death in 1999.
Several members of the Hart family including Harry Smith, Diana Hart and Bruce Hart made their presence during the Hall Of Fame ceremony in Iowa which was organized by WWE producer Adam Pearce.
#OwenHart wasn’t only a tremendous and gifted athlete: he was also a dedicated family man. It’s fitting to have so many members of the #HartFamily with us to induct Owen into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. #Thesz pic.twitter.com/CihON8qCkr

The Canadian wrestler’s status for the WWE Hall Of Fame still remains in the clouds due to resistance by Hart’s wife, Martha Hart, who is reluctant to Owen Hart being included in the Hall Of Fame.
