Paige not happy with WWE shutting down Twitch accounts

Paige expressed unhappiness with WWE’s decision to take down Twitch accounts of members of their roster in a recent stream. As reported on Wrestling-Edge, WWE issued an order that stopped WWE stars from using third party websites like Twitch and Cameo to make money on the side. Afterwards, the company passed an order which said that stars will have to give up ownership of their accounts as WWE will assume ownership of them.

Following this, AJ Styles announced that he will stop streaming and leave Twitch altogether. Mia Yim also also said that she will not do any streams for the time being.

Paige did a stream on her Twitch account where she got emotional over the company’s decision and had quite a bit to say on the subject.

Paige said that she has reached a point where she cannot deal with WWE anymore. She alluded to “making a very important decision” and added that she broke her neck twice for the company, overworked for them, and that they don’t realise that doing Twitch streams is not just for getting subscriptions.

Paige also added that she is an inactive wrestler and is rarely used by the company, so doing Twitch streams helps her keep sane and gives her something to do in her free time. She said that she’d understand if she was an active wrestler and making money from that too, but she isn’t. “I am in my house going f**king crazy and I need something to keep me sane,” she relayed.

It doesn’t look like she’s going to give up yet, however. She wrapped up her rant against WWE’s decision by saying that she can’t let the company take away her Twitch account and she plans to continue streaming. “I am gonna keep streaming, we’ll see how that goes,” she concluded.
