Paige suffered a neck injury during a Live Event last year and it forced the former Diva’s Champion to retire from in-ring competition as she revealed on Raw after WrestleMania.
During her recent appearance on E & C’s Pod of Awesomeness podcast, the former Champion talked about the moment, saying that she had lost all feeling in her legs and arms after the accident:
“When the accident happened in the ring, I lost all feeling in my legs and my arms. It was literally the most terrifying experience of my life and I never wish that upon anyone. It was so scary. I literally thought, ‘I’m done. I’m going to be in a wheelchair now. This is it”
Continuing on the topic, Paige also addressed fan’s queries about possibly returning for one more match and said that her doctors have told her she may be healthy enough in 15-20 years:
“No guys. My doctor said maybe in 15-20 years time; but, I don’t think I want to wrestle in 15-20 years time.”
