The former WWE Divas Champion Paige had been struggling with neck issues over the past few years that had put a halt on her in-ring career. She was under a contract with WWE but she recently announced that she’d soon be ending her long run with WWE. She shocked the wrestling world when she announced that she’ll be leaving WWE in July. It was then revealed that WWE didn’t want to re-sign Paige to a new contract. She recently had an amusing reaction to a fan assuming her friend was her daughter in her latest Instagram post.
Paige responds to the fan
Paige often posts updates for her fans about her personal life via her official Instagram handle. In her latest post, the former WWE star shared a bunch of pictures with a close friend of hers.
A user commented on the post and wrote the following:
“Is that her daughter or a friend too cute together.”
The response got a chuckle from her, who shared a screengrab of the comment on her Instagram story. Here’s what she wrote in her response:
“Nah fam like what hahaha?! This one hurt my feelings for real.”
Despite being plagued by injuries throughout her career, Paige maintained that she’s not done wrestling in her farewell tweet. In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D referred to the former WWE star as a ‘bad b****.’ In a positive way, of course:
“I’m a huge fan of Paige. I love her. I love her mom. I’ve wrestled her mom before actually. But she’s such an inspirational female. That girl has gone through it all and she’s still, pardon my swearing, but she’s such a bad b***h and she has that everything roll off your back energy,” Baker said.
