Pat McAfee Leaks Humiliating AEW Photo

WWE star Pat McAfee recently took a dig at AEW Double or Nothing’s ticket sales.

McAfee recently noted the ticket situation of AEW. During his Pat McAfee show, the ESPN broadcaster spoke on the topic of images from cameras other than the hard cam showing how poorly attended some events are. McAfee poked fun at the fact that AEW found that out the hard way this week.

Even some fans who attended Double or Nothing caught their focus drifting from the in-ring action, in a viral video shared online, one fan could be seen watching NXT Battleground while attending Double or Nothing.

AEW Double or Nothing ticket sale

AEW Double or Nothing is one of the biggest biggest events of the year but it seemed that the show struggled when it comes to ticket sales. Brandon Thurston reported that on the day of the show, 10,000 tickets had been distributed.

He went on to say that several sections weren’t full and that the upper level on the hard cam had been draped. In a previous edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer described the ticket sales as a “disappointment” to AEW, who had sold out the T-Mobile Arena for Double or Nothing in 2019 and 2022.

Double or Nothing

AEW’s fifth Double or Nothing show took place last weekend and was promoted as a ‘double main event show.’ The first of these main events saw AEW World Champion MJF retain against Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry.

The second main event saw the Blackpool Combat Club defeat The Elite in Anarchy in the Arena. Double or Nothing saw the AEW Women’s World Championship and AEW TBS Championship change hands.
