Pat McAfee Quitting WWE After Controversy?

Former NFL star and WWE commentator Pat McAfee is not sure regarding his future in WWE. It comes after reports emerged of the company being possibly sold during their “annual think sesh”.

The reports come after Vince McMahon’s return to the Board of Directors and it was majorly slammed. It was considered that he was trying to get control of WWE. Despite the obstacles, he was eventually named Executive Chairman after Stephanie McMahon’s resignation, with Nick Khan retaining the position of CEO.

Meanwhile, Pat McAfee has been regular in WWE since appearing in 2018 as a pre-show analyst for NXT TakeOver and would sign a multi-year contract in February 2019. McAfee was also getting involved in the storylines in NXT before moving to WWE where he would serve as color commentator.

The SmackDown commentator has even had his own WrestleMania moment, taking on Austin Theory and then Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38. Now, McAfee has revealed his thoughts on his future in the company in the event of a WWE sale.

In his “annual think sesh at the beach”, McAfee wrote on Twitter:

“Baby girl on the way… what’s that mean for my future with WWE? I LOVE it but, they’re allegedly gonna be sold, who’s buying them? Do I want to work/make money for those people?”
