Pat Patterson’s cause of death revealed

The latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides some update on the health conditions the WWE Hall Of Famer Pat Patterson was dealing with before his passing earlier this week.

According to the report, Patterson was living in an assisted living arrangement recently due to his health. He was also dealing with dementia and people who met him earlier this year at the funeral of Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson were apparently saddened by his condition.

The Hall Of Famer was rushed to a hospital in South Beach, Miami on Friday, November 27 after he suffered a blood clot in liver. He passed away in the hospital due to liver failure at around 1:15 am on Wednesday, December 2.

Patterson had contracted bladder cancer a few years ago. While not confirmed, it’s said there is a good chance that he had cancer before his passing and the other issues stemmed from it.

The WWE Hall Of Famer passed away at the age of 79. He is probably best known for being the Inaugural Intercontinental Champion and the creator of the Royal Rumble match.
