Paul Heyman explains what happens if Brock Lesnar were to return

Paul Heyman is currently serving as an advisor to the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. The Universal Champion brought in his former rival’s advocate to handle the business side of things after returning in August. The relationship has worked better than anyone could’ve hoped, with Reigns at the top and Heyman backing another strong champion.

The question that’s come up since that pairing was revealed has been “What happens when Brock Lesnar returns?” It’s a pretty important topic. Heyman has represented two of the most dominant WWE Superstars in the company now. Would he be able to work with both? Would Lesnar have an issue with Heyman siding with Reigns?

In an interview with TalkSport, Paul Heyman was asked about his plans should Lesnar return to WWE sooner rather than later. Heyman said:

“The safest thing that I can say for my well-being is that Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do. It has been that way since Brock Lesnar was five years old and I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon. I’m sticking to that soundbite.”

As of this moment, Brock Lesnar is not under contract with WWE. Heyman has said that, should something intrigue the Beast Incarnate, we may see him return. One has to wonder if that would be another feud with Roman Reigns.

Though we’ve seen it many times before, this is an entirely different version of Roman Reigns. We saw The Big Dog face off against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, but that rematch at Survivor Series feels fresh. Who’s to say it won’t do the same for Lesnar?
