Paul Heyman out as Executive Director of Monday Night RAW

In a pretty shocking development, it’s been revealed that Paul Heyman is no longer the Executive Director of WWE Monday Night RAW. Heyman was originally announced for the position back in June 2019.

WWE made the decision public earlier today. As far as what’s next for RAW, the creative teams of both the Red and Blue brands will combine going forward. Bruce Prichard, who replaced Eric Bischoff as Executive Director of SmackDown in October, will henceforth be in charge of both programs.

“In an effort to streamline our creative writing process for television, we have consolidated both teams from RAW and SmackDown into one group, led by Bruce Prichard. Paul Heyman will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.”

At the moment, it’s unknown if Heyman will move back into his role with Brock Lesnar or, possibly, find a new “Paul Heyman Guy.”
