Paul Heyman speaks on his friendship with Brock Lesnar, why Lesnar is so important to WWE, how they shocked the world at MITB

Paul Heyman Brock Lesnar

The advocate to the Beast Incarnate recently spoke with Yahoo Sports about their relationship. Paul Heyman has been a vital part of Brock Lesnar’s wrestling career since appearing on the main roster in 2002. Even when he left a few years later, the two still remained close, and Heyman credited their honesty with each other as the reason.

The respect, admiration and the honestly between Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman is 100% authentic. We are fantastic business partners, associates and best friends because we are violently honest with each other, no punches pulled, no sensitivities honored, uninhibited approach to both business and friendship in which anything can be said as long as it’s heartfelt.

That’s always been the way between us, since the first day we met. I cannot imagine having that level of openness with anyone else of Brock’s stature and I don’t know if he could trust getting that openness from anyone else except the person that has been with him since the day that he debuted on WWE television.

Heyman also went in on why Brock Lesnar is so necessary to the company, believing that he is a “once-ever” talent.

I think the general public and even those who aren’t fans of Brock Lesnar but admire his greatness, don’t truly have the mindset of understanding how unique and how rare and how once-ever Brock Lesnar truly is. Brock Lesnar is so important to WWE because no one on the face of the planet can match up against Brock Lesnar.

There is no one on any roster in mixed martial arts or sports entertainment that can compare to the resume, the accomplishments, or the ability of  Brock Lesnar. He’s a once-ever athlete and a once-ever performer.

When it came to the surprising return of Lesnar at Money in the Bank, Heyman claimed that it was pretty easy to pull off.

It’s never difficult to pull off a surprise involving Brock Lesnar because we know how to keep the circle very tight. We pulled it off with not one person figuring this out, not one person offering a spoiler online or anywhere else and we once again demonstrated that Brock Lesnar knows how to dominate headlines better than anyone else in WWE, sports entertainment or mixed martial arts.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, after learning that he had a full year to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, Lesnar walked away from a match with Universal Champion Seth Rollins. With a year left until the contract expires, Heyman and Lesnar hope to shock the world and dominate the headlines again when the Beast Incarnate eventually cashes in.

Me thinks that “Heyman” is being paid way too much for having his nose shoved up Lesnar’s *ss. It’s so brown, it’s name has turned into “MUDD”. Not even Primus can take that away from them.

Try to keep article titles short and sweet. 90% of your audience doesn’t have that much of an attention span.

Paul’s a great promoter but nothing he said about Lesnar is ever going to make me care for that piece of crap

Paul has no mind of his own anymore, we was played to say this crap. if you guys knew the ECW Paul Haymen you’d understand what I mean.
