Could Paul Heyman work with Ronda Rousey in the future?

The advocate for Brock Lesnar may find himself in need of a new project, should Lesnar leave the WWE for UFC this year. The Universal champion is still working on a deal with Triple H and the WWE but, as of right now, nothing is finalized. If rumors are true, and Wrestlemania is his last match, Paul Heyman could be looking for a new client.

According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, WWE is debating on pairing Heyman with Ronda Rousey. It all depends on how well Rousey can resonate with the fans.

At Elimination Chamber, Rousey’s mic skills left something to be desired, with the Vegas crowd overtaking her moment with a chorus of boos. However, once the segment took a turn and the former UFC champion got a bit more serious, the crowd seemed to get into the segment.

Ronda Rousey’s appearance on Raw the following night was a bit better, however, leaving some fans surprised at how well she handled the crowd. If she can continue to do this, it’s possible she won’t need Heyman.
