It has come to our attention that WWE have released a lot of superstars today. On the list of superstars released it looks like Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were on the list as well. Earlier today, WWE released many superstars including Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, and Bo Dallas to name a few. WWE have stated that they wish everyone the best in their future endeavors.
Of course when WWE wishes their best, they’re really saying don’t ever come back in most cases. AEW are always on the hunt for superstars that were known in other promotions previously. Could this mean that we will see most of the superstars in AEW? More than likely, but we know there has to be some name changes, right?
Sometimes, a superstar actually owns their own name by trademark before WWE can do so. In this case, superstars such as Samoa Joe and Kalisto own their own name. However, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay do not own their own name. Peyton and Billie would have to change their name after they finish their 90 day no compete clause should they sign elsewhere.
