It was previously noted that Rose would defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Cora Jade at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. Jade and Rose have been involved in a fiery rivalry but on this week’s episode of NXT 2.0, the duo of Shirai and Ray won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after they defeated Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai. However, the winning pair declared that instead of going after the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, Shirai and Ray wanted to be added to the NXT Women’s Championship match.

Will Mandy be able to walk out of NXT Stand & Deliver as the NXT Women’s Champion? Only time will tell as the event takes place on Saturday, April 2 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The event will air live on Peacock and the WWE Network, with a special start time of noon ET due to WrestleMania 38 Night One kicking off just a few hours later. The NXT event is reportedly scheduled to run for 2.5 – 3 hours. The NXT’s event card is stacked with some huge matches.
