This week’s episode of Raw had an interesting segment which saw Nia Jax coming out after Natalya defeated Mickie James and the Raw Women’s Champion then celebrated with Natalya and Ronda Rousey.
After the show went off air, a lot of people wondered why this segment was done this way and now Mike Johnson of Pwinsider may have given us an idea about it.
During the latest edition of PWinsiderElite Audio, Johnson talked about this segment and speculated that it could lead to a match between Jax and Rousey, presumably at SummerSlam.
It’s worth mentioning here that there are rumors of Ronda possibly facing Charlotte Flair at next year’s edition of the Show of Shows WrestleMania.
If these rumors are true, then it would make sense for Ronda Rousey to have a big match at SummerSlam to build her for Mania and a match against Nia can do just that.
Though we’ll have to wait and watch the WWE Programming in upcoming weeks to see if the company drops any more hints for this to know if this match is actually in plans.
