It appears that SmackDown Star Tye Dillinger may have suffered an injury while wrestling at this weekend’s SmackDown Live Event in Florence, SC.
Dillinger was wrestling in a match with Shelton Benjamin where he took a nasty fall and it looked like the former NXT Star got knocked out.
The referee then threw up the X sign, indicating that the former NXT Star was legitimately hurt from the spot and needed help, and then counted him out to end the bout.
So far WWE has not released any official statement on the matter so it’s hard to say if Tye is seriously injured or not. No word yet on if he will be away from the ring due to this but we’ll keep you posted.
Dillinger hasn’t been involved in any long-term feud on SmackDown Live for a while and the former NXT Star is not scheduled for any bout for the upcoming SummerSlam PPV either.
