Possible opponent for CM Punk’s second fight

We noted before how Dana White said that he’ll be giving CM Punk another chance to fight in UFC and now it appears that his opponent has been revealed too.

According to reports from MMAfighting.com, UFC Officials are planning for Mike Jackson to be Punk’s opponent on his return to octagon possibly in Chicago for UFC 225.

What’s interesting to note here is that Jackson is also 0-1 in the league and he also lost to Mickey Gall in 2016 via rear naked choke in the first round.

CM Punk left WWE after the Royal Rumble 2014. He was part of the Battle Royal and lasted for about 50 minutes before being eliminated by Kane, who he was feuding with at the time.

He was expected to work Raw the next night but he didn’t show up and quit the company afterward. He later announced that he has signed a deal with UFC and made his debut at UFC 203.
