Possible reason for Miz being moved up to RAW during Superstar Shake-Up

The first new addition to the RAW roster last night during the Superstar Shake-Up was The Miz, as he appeared during the opening segment to attack his arch-nemesis Shane McMahon in the ring.

The Miz being moved to RAW was discussed by Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of Figure Four Daily. Bryan explained in detail what was suggested to him as a potential reason for moving The Miz to RAW.

He stated that it was suggested to him by somebody inside the company that the reason WWE decided to move The Miz to RAW was due to the fact that the company needed an extra day to help promote Miz & Mrs after the ratings for the season premiere failed to give the expected numbers.

“I believe, I don’t know this for sure, but one person in the company did suggest this to me. The reason The Miz is now on RAW is because that gives them an extra day to plug Miz & Mrs. which apparently the debut number was not good. It was lower than I believe the lowest number from season one and that was the debut of season two and so I guess if Miz is on RAW then they got an extra day to promote Miz & Mrs. and I guess they figure that maybe that’ll help bring up the rating, so there you go.”

We will provide updates regarding the reason behind any superstar being moved to RAW or Smackdown if we get to learn more.
