Possible Reason Titus O’Neil Grabbed Vince McMahon

Titus O’Neil reportedly explained to WWE management that the reason he grabbed Vince McMahon on RAW after Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech was a gesture to indicate “ladies first” so Stephanie McMahon could exit the stage first instead of Vince. O’Neil did it in a playful manner, and it was not intended to upset Vince, which it did, and he shoved O’Neil.

As noted, WWE has reduced his suspension from 90 days to 60 days. The reason for the lengthy suspension is due to WWE feeling that the talents need to stop “messing around” and be professionals. As of late, several talents have “been riding the line” in terms of following the company rules lately.

90 days seemed insane, but yeah 60 seems harsh. I think in the end, it will only be 30 days, if Titus is on good behavior. By that I mean laying low and not taking to Twitter that he wants to be released or some other foolishness. Titus seems like a class act, so I don’t think that will be a problem.

Any reason to “make an example” of a Superstar. 60 days still seems harsh…

Yeah that sounds like a weak excuse made up after the fact. Just admit you were goofing around and it backfired. It happens to everyone. Just do your time and move on.
