Possible reason why Keith Lee’s entrance music was changed

When Keith Lee made his debut on Monday Night RAW, fans were upset as they saw WWE had changed Keith Lee’s original entrance music. His original music featured him singing in it, unlike the current one.

Several fans took to social media to voice their disapproval. They also wondered why the change took place and now it seems we know the reason behind the action.

According to a report by Fightful Select, Keith Lee’s new WWE theme was due to WWE telling Superstars to no longer use their CFO$ themes. It was said that “The former WWE music group no longer works with WWE, and signed a terrible deal with their publisher that sees the publisher get half the royalties.”

The company does not have the same deal with Jim Johnston, which explains why several songs were changed during the past few years. It was said that some Superstars “hated the music” which WWE gave them as a replacement for their original theme. Apparently, some rejected the idea of changing their music.

Keith Lee took to Twitter to address the situation. He revealed that the situation was beyond his control, but he will deal with it.

Music is out of my hands. Period. Leave it be. I’ll sort it out later.
