Possible reason why Pat McAfee was removed from NXT television

Pat McAfee has not been seen on NXT television since NXT TakeOver: WarGames. It was said that he was taken off NXT television and it was not his own decision.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Pat McAfee’s current condition. He revealed that the main reason they removed McAfee was so that NXT does not rely too much on him for their programming.

Meltzer added that McAfee should be doing guest spots on Monday Night RAW, especially since he is so exceptionally good at what he does.

Meltzer also said that “It’s better in smaller doses.” He also noted that “McAfee did nothing wrong, and there’s no heat.” It is simply that “they just wanted him off [TV] for a little while.”
