Velveteen Dream announced during the beginning of NXT’s days on the USA Network that he was going away. Fans are still eagerly waiting for his return.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked a question regarding Velveteen Dream’s return status. Meltzer revealed he has not heard any update about his recovery. He mentioned that the back injury Dream suffered was a very serious one, so it will take longer than expected for him to return.
So it is still unknown when Velveteen Dream will be returning to the ring. WWE apparently has big plans in store for the NXT Superstar once he does, so we can hope it will be sooner rather than later.
