Dolph Ziggler made a surprise return to WWE, as many thought he would be busy with his stand-up comedy dates. He is now scheduled to take part in a huge match for the WWE Championship at WWE Super Showdown.
Kevin Owens refused to go to Saudi Arabia for his own reasons and due to this, a new match had to be figured out. This is where Ziggler’s role came to be, but he is most likely not staying after the event.
Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider that he has heard that there are no plans for Dolph Ziggler following WWE Super Showdown. So, he will most likely be unsuccessful in winning the WWE Title at Jeddah.
Ziggler is still advertised to compete in a triple threat match for the WWE Title at Extreme Rules on July 14th.
