The current plan for the upcoming TLC PPV is for Drew McIntyre to defend his WWE Championship against Braun Strowman in the Raw brand’s main event according to F4Wonline.com.
This week’s episode of Raw featured a segment that saw the former Universal Champion putting his hands on WWE producer Adam Pearce, resulting in Pearce having Strowman escorted out of the building.
The WWE producer then announced a number of qualifying matches with the winners getting a spot in a #1 contender triple threat match for the WWE Championship.
So if this is the current plan then it’s likely that Strowman will return to the show next week and insert himself in the #1 contenders match somehow.
On the other hand, a match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns is said to be the plan for future but the date for the same is not confirmed.
Many believe that it will also take place at the upcoming PPV on December 20 but according to the site, the word is that WWE will be holding off this bout for a later date.
