Possible update on Goldberg’s opponent for Saudi Arabia show

Goldberg

WWE announced the return of Goldberg for their Saudi Arabia show recently and since then people have been wondering who the former World Champion will face in his return bout.

Bobby Lashley has had an exchange with the former Universal Champion on Twitter after the announcement and it appears that there is a good chance that Lashley will end up being his opponent for the show.

While this direction is not confirmed for the event, PWinsider has a new report on their recent exchange and it notes that it could end up being the direction for their upcoming Saudi Arabian event.

We noted before how Goldberg’s WWE deal is a one and one affair and so far the company has no plans of using him for any future event after the upcoming show.

So it will make sense for Bobby Lashley to face the former TNA Star at the upcoming event in a match without any long term implication. Though this fight is not confirmed just yet so we’ll have to keep an eye on these two to know for sure if the company is indeed building this bout.

Bless your heart for thinking they’re going to have Goldberg lose to a mid-carder in Saudi Arabia

The article writer obviously doesn’t follow wrestling, nor knows who Goldberg is. The best you got is “former TNA” star? And not, the former undefeated WCW talent who went toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, Taker, and more than a few big time old schoolers? The best you got is “TNA? Goldberg sh*ts TNA for giggles. As he was NEVER in TNA!!!

I think Goldberg putting Lashley over would definitely be good for Lashley.

Not to be confused with WCW…! LOL

    Boring….

Just give us Goldberg vs Taker already
