Possible way WWE changed Charlotte Flair’s plans for WrestleMania

Charlotte Flair is currently on a hiatus from WWE owing to plastic surgery. During her previous run in the company, fans were upset at how she was booked earlier in the year. It seems fans were not the only ones who were upset.

According to a report by Fightful Select, the NXT creative team had a lot of things planned, but they had to go through RAW to get them approved. Flair was in the NXT Women’s Championship picture around that time, but all of their plans were rejected.

According to the original plans, Rhea Ripley was going to win her match against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36 instead of Flair winning. There was also a “big push within NXT to add Bianca Belair” to that match in order to make it a triple threat affair, but that ultimately did not happen either.

One NXT Superstar said that those in NXT should have known what they were getting into when they planned the angle.
