WWE will be hosting the second ever RAW Underground show tonight on USA Network. The concept debuted last week with Shane McMahon hosting the ‘fight club’ inspired show. Fans in general were critical of the new format, with WWE trying to present a ‘shoot-fight’ style show in the third hour of RAW.
WrestleVotes recently claimed that there would be a major RAW star appearing on the Underground portion of the show tonight. Shane McMahon teased that there would be female performers fighting in the ring tonight; apparently Shayna Baszler is set to be one of them.
Shayna Baszler has previously fought for the likes of StrikeForce, Invicta and the UFC as part of her MMA career. WWE had previously heavily presented the ‘Queen of Spades’ as a MMA styled wrestler in NXT, although now it would appear that her MMA roots might be focused on even more.
It has not been confirmed who Shayna Baszler will be fighting on tonight’s broadcast. Although with the first segment of RAW Underground pitting established Superstars against unknowns it is likely that Baszler will get the same ‘squash match’ type treatment.
