The wrestling world has seen many people breathe their last this year, and before it comes to a close another professional wrestler breathed their last today. Revolution Pro Wrestling took to X (formerly Twitter) and informed its fans that UK indie wrestler Kurtis Chapman has passed away at the young age of 26.
Kurtis was known to wrestling fans as “Mad Kurt”. Revolution Pro Wrestling said, “We, at Revolution Pro Wrestling are absolutely heartbroken to report the loss of our dear friend Kurtis Chapman. We watched Kurtis grow from a child to a young man who loved professional wrestling and continued to excel in all aspects of his life. One of the most gifted technical wrestlers, charismatic characters and magnetic personalities. He will never be forgotten”

Ringside News reports that Kurtis started with RevPro in 2014, and has worked with RevPro, Progress, IPW, and various minor promotions. His eight year journey involved holding the RevPro British Cruiserweight Championship for six months in 2018. Kurtis last appeared inside the squared circle in June and successfully defended his Resurgence Arthouse Title at a Resurgence show in Leicester.
His online persona on Twitter added to his fame as his responses were wonderful. The exact reason for his passing are not known as of this writing. We ar Wrestling Edge pass our heartful condolences to Kurtis Chapman’s loved ones during these testing times.
