WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon also sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches.
R-Truth recently spoke to Bally Sports’ Brandon Robinson, where he revealed that Vince McMahon hates the term belts when it comes to describing championships in WWE.
”I’ll take ANY belt and take it to the highest of beltstivity. That’s what I do. And it’s not called a belt. It’s called a championship or a title. Vince McMahon believes a belt is something you use to keep your pants up. So it’s a championship title. You see what I’m sayin’? I would take any of those championship titles because they’re all prestigious titles. It’s an accomplishment. If you win one of the Tag Team Titles, it’s an accomplishment. So I think that any one of ‘em would be honored to have.”
Vince McMahon made several appearances during the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, as he was involved with Cleopatra’s egg. It was simply a product placement for The Rock’s Red Notice film. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon made so many appearances due to garnering huge ratings.
“Tomorrow it’s Indiana Jones … let’s find out, you know it’s like sometimes these things flop and sometimes these things work. It’s a gimmick to get a rating and do product placement for Rock’s movie also. It’s to get a rating, it’s to get Vince.
We’ll see what Vince means on television. He hadn’t been on TV a lot lately. He hasn’t been on TV in a long time. Now he’s back and, you know, and they made a big deal. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh Vince is there.’”
