One half of the RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton is currently out of action and is unlikely to return anytime soon. Orton was not present for this week’s post-Extreme Rules edition of WWE RAW, and talks are floating around backstage is that he was “not cleared to perform,” according to PWInsider.

It is unknown when Orton will be back, and exactly why he’s not cleared. It will be interesting to see if he is involved in the WWE Draft that begins this Friday on SmackDown, then wraps next Monday on RAW. Orton has not been in action since defeating AJ Styles on the September 20 RAW. This week’s RAW saw Orton’s tag-team partner Riddle lost to Styles.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio recently said the former WWE Champion wasn’t present backstage on RAW. He said that ‘there is something up’ with Orton as his absence is unexpected considering he just returned to WWE after a long sabbatical. Brock Lesnar Offered WWE Rematch In UFC?
He said:
“He wasn’t booked on the pay-per-view but he was booked on the house show and he wasn’t at the house show either so there’s something up.” said Meltzer.
