Randy Orton Banned From WWE Return?

WWE veteran star Randy Orton has not been featured in the programming since May this year. Orton last competed on May 20 edition of WWE SmackDown, losing the Raw Tag Team Championships with Matt Riddle to The Usos. He has been dealing with a back injury that was considered significant enough for him to miss the rest of the year. ‘The Viper’ required a fusion in his lower back that would keep him out of action for an extended period of time. The surgery has already happened as noted by Orton’s wife posting a picture of him around the operation. Former WWE star Renee Dupree had opened up on Orton’s injury. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg has weighed-in on the matter.

Road Dogg talks about Randy Orton

WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Road Dogg Brian James during the latest episode of his podcast “Oh… You Didn’t Know?” outlined that he has spoken to Orton, but it wasn’t about his injury, calling it “something he shouldn’t mention on the air.”

“I don’t know [about his injury], I haven’t seen Randy, and I haven’t asked about Randy,” James said. “I don’t bring him up. For my job, I have a list of people I cannot use and he’s on that right now. I don’t have him as a combatant to write into a match.”

Although James did seem optimistic about Orton returning, the same can’t be said about others in the company including his former rival Kofi Kingston, who said he doesn’t know “if Orton is coming back.”
