Randy Orton was taken out of action last year due to a beatdown by The Usos. The Viper has been gone for a longer duration than expected as he had to go through a back fusion surgery and a back injury. Orton’s absence was felt by the WWE Universe very well and he was deeply missed by the fans.
While there were reports that he came to the performance center, he didn’t participate in the ring activities and it was unsure if he would be back in the ring anytime soon. WWE has kept everything under the rug, and limited details about Orton have surfaced since he went on a hiatus.
Regarding the Randy Orton return rumors, source states new merchandise & branding has been approved. Also, WWE will present a large social media promotion / digital material for the comeback. It’s indeed happening. Likely Survivor Series or that weekend.

According to Ringside News, WrestleVotes reports that Randy Orton may be on his way back to the WWE at Survivor Series or around that time. The social media post also confirms that WWE wants to celebrate this moment, so merchandise print requests have been approved and the social media team is already getting set to mark it a grand occasion.
The Apex Predator has had an excellent career between the ropes and he still has a lot to offer to the squared circle. Fans want to see him between the ropes, and he also wants to proceed with a performance.

While his return will not see an RKBro reunion, it’s safe to say that the fans would love a surprise entry by him. There’s no news on who his opponent will be, and if he will pick up from where he left off last year.
