Randy Orton is one of the top stars of WWE roster and while the other members of his class like John Cena and Dave Batista have gone on to pursue a career in Hollywood, he does not plan on leaving the company anytime soon.
The former World Champion recently took part in a media call where he talked about the high-risk wrestling style of the NXT talents. Orton said that it worries him because they affect the length of your career.
The Viper then explained that the NXT stars should focus on telling a story, before mentioning how he plans to continue wrestling untill his 50th birthday:
“I’ve been doing this 20 years and I’ll do it another decade. I just turned 40 and my plan is to just keep going until my 50th birthday and I think I would be able to do that and I would be able to support my family for 30 years of wrestling under Vince McMahon because of the way I tell stories in the ring.”
Orton later explained how the NXT stars need to make money to support their families and they can’t do so if their career is shortened due to injury.
